I was inspired by the Folded Shorts from the Jet Set for this look. I went for a muted neutral outfit with a pop of soft pink, with the Military Cropped Capelet that was a freebie. The top is of course Button Up Lace Shirt from Pretty n' Love, sticking with a buttoned theme. The bag is from the recent Callie's Picks, called Caramel Quilted Purse, and I'm not sure what store it came from. They match the shorts beautiful. The shoes are Platform Ankle Strap Pumps from Nelly, and the ankle bracelet is Summer Ankle Jewel from Rio

And of course, I can't forget my little companion, knut.

For hair and makeup, I did a colorful sunset inspired eye with a simple Kylie bob.

Nelly!

Nelly is definitely one of my favorite stores on Stardoll. I think I say that about a lot of stores, but seriously, I love Nelly. I love the real brand, as well. They are always urban, chic, modern, sarcastic, and simple designs. These are my picks from this new release:

The worded t-shirts are always a winner with me. I basically live by the saying 'good vibes only', I want that carved into my gravestone. The hats are also always a winner with me, because I love a good beanie, am I right? The necklace is pretty and cute. The headband is a little tacky and little-girlish, but so am I. The shoes are pink versions of the white ones from the last release, and I love both pairs. Work boots have a hold on my heart. The jacket is simple and neutral, as well the dress.

I also am thinking about getting the red Flirty Off Shoulder Top, and the Matelasse Skirt.

Great collection, beautiful designs as usual, and always true to the real life versions.

Jet Set Superstar Store

I love being Superstar, and I don't know how non-Superstar players survive out there without access to some of the best features Stardoll has to offer. One of them being the Jet Set! A new collection was released recently and I like it a lot, and these are the pieces I bought:

First of all, that dress is so nice and fun. I lan on wearing it very soon. The earings, bracelet, and headband are great little detailed accessories. The handbag is cute, being a little postcard design. The shorts are very classy and very me. The shirt is nice and simple.

The collection as a whole is beautiful. I am still deciding if I want to get any of the other dresses. The long gowns are nice, but I'm not sure if I like them enough to buy them. The Tropical Print Dress is beautiful, but something about the top of it is weird.

Do These Blacks Match?

This outfit started out with me wanting to use that new LE Faux Ponyhair Skirt, which has great texture. I went for a dark business look, using Editorial Top from Decades, and Extra Long Modern Blazer from ELLE. The belt is Skinny belt from Archive, the socks are Plaid Silk Socks from Bonjour Bizou, and the boots are simply the Black Velvet Wedge Boots from Fallen Angel. I'm not entirely happy with the shoes, but they were cheap and they were my best option of what I owned.

Also, I will not be doing a Lala's Picks on the Callie's Picks this release because I do not even own a lot of camouflage, and really enjoy what Callie picked anyways.

New Much Needed Minimalism Collection

After a very long while, a new collection has been released in one of my top five fave interior stores. I bought only a few things to begin with, but plan on buying a lot more once I know what I want to do with the neat things this collection brings.

It's a collection including some good storage solutions, and nice, simple pieces. I bought the interior, and these things:

I love birch trees, so those curtains just spoke to me. And the wood grain carpet is beautiful and kind of ironic in a way. I picked up the chairs because they would be easy to use in an office setting or something.

Everything about this collection inspires me, and I can't wait to find a good reason to buy more things from it!

Bedazzled Byzantium

This is the outfit I made with a couple of new pieces I bought from LE. I used the BW Bandeau under the ELLE Modern Moto Jacket, paired with Fallen Angel Gothic Bedazzled Jeans. The shoes are also the latest from LE, Heavy Banded Platforms. The bag is Quilted Backpack from Nelly, with gold details like the ELLE jacket has. The necklace is the Hotbuys VIP Pass from It Girls, and the bracelet is Bangle Cuff Set from Killah. Lastly, the belt, which is kind of hard to spot, is from Otto and is called Gürtel. The hair is from LE as well, and the hair color is called Byzantium, which is no longer available.

New LE Collection Picks

In Ohio, you have to be up and at 'em at 5 in the morning if you want to be ready to get your hands on a new limited collection before things sell out. I was up at four making coffee, assuming the collection would release at 6. Was I ever wrong. I then had to feed my baby, and I played with her waiting until the next turn of the hour. At seven, it had yet to come. Underneath Stardoll was hopping in the comments of posts, usually off topic, all about LE. At eight, everyone was losing momentum and going to work or school or bed. At nine, the spoiler for the preview came out, and we all knew soon it would be released. Shortly after, it was! 

I was one of the lucky few who was able to nab everything I had in mind of getting, if you don't count the clothes I couldn't afford. I started with 519, and was left with 9 in the end. I am glad of my choices, and I want to show you what I chose:

The skirt was a little surprise I didn't think I'd end up getting. I chose it over some green pants I thought I wanted. I am so glad I got the scarf. The shoes are just my style, and of course I had to get one of the coats. I like the way this one looks over the others. The bandeau and dress are great additions to my LE collection! :)

I was also able to get the hair! This is the first ever LE hair. It has an ok fit, great depth of shading and highlighting, and looks pretty neat in bright colors. At first I regretted getting it, but I don't now. I think I'll wear it a lot.

Holographic Stardesign Fashion Find

Poking around in the Starbazaar, with Stardesign Fashion and 2 - 9 stardollars as filters, I found this little shiny gem! It's designed by Adi19, who designs tees, overalls, chokers, and colorful wigs.

I love how real this skirt looks. If you don't know what holographic looks like in real life, google it and you'll see how accurate this skirt is.

I have her Starbazaar in my bookmarks so I can remember to check every now and again if she's restocked, which I suggest you do too! :)

Godzilla!

I created this look using the Tartan Punk Pants and Godzilla Tote Bag from the new Evil Panda collection. I mixed prints with an ancient Kohl's Abbey Dawn item, Hotbuys Wedge sneakers, and The Jet Set Military Coat.

Also a little french bulldog as a companion. Her name is Elsa from Furry Friends.

I went for short hair, smokey browns on the eye, and mauve lips.

New Pals Review

New pals came to the Starplaza yesterday and this time brought children! I was very excited, and bought literally all of the children. As for the adults, I haven't bought anyone yet. I haven't even bought any of the pals from the old collection.

The very first collection of pals ever was people that was shaped like a medoll so you could dress them in your suite with your clothes. They cost 70 stardollars. I have one! and I use her around my suite all the time. Here she is with my new children:

She's just dressed up in stuff I found in my storage. The girl in the pink dress is from a Royalty store collection. I love all of the girls and can't wait to make rooms for them. 

An argument about how this collection might influence little girls to want babies is understandable, but I am pretty sure girls all over the world have been playing with baby dolls since they were little babies. 

A long time ago, there was also a little collection of a few babies and some baby clothes you could put them in. They were 14 stardollars, I think. I have one! Here she is with the other babies in her nursery:

In reality, having only one crib for three babies is not ok. Also having toys and pillows in her crib is very dangerous. I definitely plan on making a safer, updated nursery for this babies. The thing I like about these babies is that they could be baby boys, if you dressed them up as boys.

All in all, I love this collection and it inspires me to make new rooms.

New Evil Panda Collection Faves

A much needed release of Evil Panda was released a few days ago, and I bought a few things. It's a really good collection and I bought more than I normally do out of a new collection. It's themed, subtly, with safety pins.

If I were going to give this collection a rating, it would be total 10/10.

I can't pick total favorites out of these. I am in love with everything. Tomorrow I will have a look up, and probably even another video makeup tutorial.

One last thing, here is a comparison of these two pink studded moto jackets... One from the recent Antidote release, and the other from Evil Panda. It's no question which is better ;)

New in Antidote

Early this morning in my time zone Antidote was released, as a Valentine's Day themed collection.

It was very limited, some items only 300 were available.

I stayed up and got what I wanted, which I rarely ever do. It wasn't my favorite collection, but some items weren't bad. I had a good amount of stardollars to work with, so I was able to splurge on things. The most expensive was the terry cloth dress. As a Royalty member though, I did get them cheaper.

My two absolute favorites are the cropped collared top, and the graphic tweed print skirt. They remind me of Charli XCX's Break the Rules :)

The collection was a little incohesive, random, and a bit tacky. I love the real item versions, but Stardoll's interpretations usually disappoint any more. I also think the quality of the graphics isn't that of a limited collection so the items look cheap, and like they belong in one of the permanent Stardoll stores.

Lazy OOTD and Life Updates!

From now on I won't be making little collages for my outfits of the day, I'm just going to put the image here of my outfit and talk a little bit about it. If I'm especially happy of the makeup, I'll do a video tutorial. I am a much busier person than I was when I started this Stardoll blog, but I do want to continue making posts. I won't do any more outfits of the week posts lol.

If you're wondering what changed, I am now a mommy! I am with my baby all day long and only have a little time at night while she sleeps to get my me time in. And Stardoll is definitely a me time activity! I don't want to let this blog die.
